- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I took my collie here to get a second opinion because my primary vet couldn't seem to figure out what the problem was. Zoe had been scratching like crazy & losing quite a bit of hair on her belly & rear. Dr. Hines examined her thouroughly, asked questions & gave advice. He was in no rush to get us in & out quickly and then charge us a hefty bill for a few short minutes. After examining her & testing her for mange (negative) he still couldn't quite determine what Zoe's problem was. He didn't stop there though- he sent us home with a special shampoo, pills for hypothyroidism, and a prescription of Trifexis so we could see how she responded with each.. After a couple weeks had passed & through process of elimination, we found out that Zoe was allergic to flea bites & that the Trifexis did the trick perfectly.
